2.3ish 60' times, you were probably easing it out of the hole, a little to easily. That "wastes alot of track" and gives you a high 60' and low MPH. Try a little tire spin (leaving at a higher RPM), easing on the throttle until the tires bite and then put your foot to the floor (this should be done in about 1 second, but start slow until it feels comfortable). As far as shift points go with stock turbos, a general rule of thumb (assuming your tach is accurate, which it probably isn't, most stock tachs read high) is to shift into 2nd at 7,000RPM, into 3rd at 6,600, and into 4th at 6,200. It's kind of a long story (even my short stories are long) and has to do with shaft torque (that's the torque of the engine times the gear ratio), you want to shift so that you match your shaft torque from one gear to the next, so as not to lose momentum. It's not about shifting at the peak power point, or dropping it on the peak torque area; a good shift point is determined by matching shaft torque from one gear to the next. Good luck and we all (whether drag or track competition) had to go thru a learning curve, as humbling as it is. The only way to avoid it is to not try, Mark
